Job description

About Tribe

At Tribe, we’re transforming the recruitment process with cutting-edge AI solutions, including our ATS platform. We are looking for a Senior QA Engineer who will lead the charge in establishing robust quality assurance processes and improving the overall quality of our software. If you're passionate about software quality, automation, and driving innovation in QA practices, we'd love to have you on our team.

Role Overview

As a Senior QA Engineer, you will be responsible for establishing and maintaining QA processes that ensure exceptional software quality. You will develop and execute test strategies, automate testing, and collaborate closely with product and engineering teams to support the continued enhancement of Tribe’s ATS software. Additionally, you will create and manage a Release Management process, ensuring smooth transitions from development to production environments. This is a hands-on role that allows you to build test cases, automate processes, and track quality metrics while fostering a culture of quality within our engineering team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement QA strategies, test plans, and processes to ensure high-quality software releases.

  • Establish and maintain automated testing frameworks and tools, ensuring effective regression and functional testing.

  • Create, execute, and maintain test cases for both manual and automated testing, covering UI, API, and functional tests.

  • Lead the QA efforts in no-code development environments, particularly with platforms like Bubble.

  • Collaborate with engineering, product management, and cross-functional teams to ensure smooth release cycles and timely bug fixes.

  • Create and manage a Release Management process, ensuring that software transitions seamlessly between development, testing, and production environments without disrupting day-to-day business operations.

  • Support the creation of testing and development environments to facilitate efficient workflows, minimizing any potential business impact.

  • Manage the bug reporting process, ensure clear communication of issues, and drive resolution across teams.

  • Define and track QA KPIs to measure software quality, reporting progress and quality status to stakeholders.

  • Support the engineering team in troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality software.
