Job Description

As a Bookkeeper, you’ll play a crucial role in managing the financial intricacies of our client’s diverse real estate and construction operations. This position offers a unique opportunity to work across multiple business entities, applying your expertise in QuickBooks and financial management to ensure smooth, accurate, and timely financial processes. You’ll be instrumental in streamlining bookkeeping procedures, managing invoices, and contributing to the overall financial health of the organization. Responsibilities
  • Oversee bookkeeping tasks for three interconnected companies in real estate brokerage, property management, and construction
  • Utilize QuickBooks to maintain precise financial records and ensure punctual invoicing
  • Efficiently process and track vendor invoices, with a focus on purchases from major suppliers like Home Depot and Lowe’s
  • Develop and implement an effective system for back-billing expenses across multiple entities
  • Collaborate with existing team members to optimize financial operations across all business units
  • Reconcile accounts and prepare comprehensive financial reports as needed
  • Contribute innovative ideas to improve financial processes and increase operational efficiency
Requirements
  • Proven track record as a bookkeeper, preferably with experience in real estate or construction industries
  • Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, with a strong understanding of U.S. accounting practices (preferred)
  • Familiarity with property management software (e.g., Buildium) is a significant advantage
  • Exceptional attention to detail and ability to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Outstanding organizational skills and proactive time management
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and thrive in a virtual work setting
  • Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Adaptability and willingness to learn new systems and processes
