We are seeking an experienced Product Owner with a strong background in AWS Cloud Technology, the Healthcare industry, and a deep understanding of Revenue Cycle Management (RCM). The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in driving the successful migration of Availity's RCM solution to the AWS Cloud environment. This role requires close collaboration with five scrum teams within a Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) release train. As a Product Owner, you will be responsible for translating business requirements into actionable features, ensuring alignment with strategic goals, and delivering value in every sprint.

To be qualified for this position you: 

  • Have 3-5 years of experience working in a Product Owner position within the healthcare technology space. This is required to be considered for the role.

  • Strong experience working with AWS. This is required to be considered for the role.

  • Have experience working in Agile/Scrum environment / leading agile ceremonies.

  • Can gather technical and functional requirements and have experience writing user stories.

  • Have strong communication and organization skills.

  • Can prioritize and work on concurrent projects at a given time.

  • Can work independently.

  • You are adaptable and are flexible to changing priorities.

  • You have AWS Certification.

  • You have experience with Revenue Cycle Management (RCM).

  • You have Scrum/Agile or Product Owner Certification.

You will be: 

  • Product Vision & Roadmap: Collaborate with stakeholders to define the product vision, roadmap, and goals that align with the company’s strategic objectives for the RCM solution.

  • Backlog Management: Prioritize and manage the product backlog, ensuring that features and user stories are well-defined, detailed, and aligned with business goals.

  • Agile Release Train: Work closely with the Release Train Engineer (RTE) and scrum teams to plan, execute, and deliver features on time and within scope.

  • AWS Cloud Migration: Lead the migration of the RCM solution to the AWS Cloud, ensuring that all cloud-related aspects such as scalability, security, and compliance are addressed.

  • Healthcare Industry Expertise: Leverage your knowledge of the healthcare industry, particularly in RCM, to ensure that the product meets the needs of healthcare providers and payers.

  • Stakeholder Engagement: Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including executives, clients, and development teams, to gather requirements, provide updates, and align on priorities.

  • Continuous Improvement: Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the teams, encouraging innovation, best practices, and high standards in product development.

  • Quality Assurance: Ensure that all product features are tested thoroughly and meet the necessary compliance and regulatory requirements in the healthcare industry.

  • Data-Driven Decisions: Utilize analytics and data insights to drive product decisions and measure the impact of delivered features on business outcomes.
