Pro Mach's Brenton Engineering is seeking a proactive, self-motivated Business Development Manager to drive sales growth by finding and qualifying new prospects.
This role involves understanding the end-of-line packaging industry, promoting new equipment and automation solutions, and demonstrating the value of our offerings. This position reports to the VP Sales.  It is a remote position and can be located anywhere near a major US airport.

Are you passionate about this work?

  • Collaborate with marketing to identify prospects in target market verticals.
  • Find and qualify prospect accounts, eventually handing off qualified prospects to Regional Sales Managers.
  • Build and maintain relationships with other Pro Mach divisions, identifying key partners for regular engagement.
  • Educate customers on industry insights and our capabilities using consultative selling techniques.

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in account prospecting in an industrial sector selling highly engineered products (not software), preferably with a manufacturer of capital equipment.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred, Engineering degree a plus.
  • Experience using a CRM tool preferred, Salesforce experience a plus.
  • Strong business acumen with ability to align solutions with customer needs.
  • Proven ability to find, develop, and deliver new business.
  • Excellent communication skills; effective in both formal and informal meetings.
  • Influential, with strong networking skills and the ability to drive decision-making.
  • Independent and driven, with entrepreneurial mindset.
  • Can be located anywhere near a major US airport.
