Job Description

What you’ll do

  • Develop and implement Local Operating Procedures to ensure compliance with the company’s and industry’s security standards.
  • Monitor the local security situation to timely identify and report potential security risks for the site and the personnel to the Regional Security Manager.
  • Manage the security guarding services performance and contracts in accordance with corporate security SOP requirements.
  • Ensure that security systems are well maintained and operate properly.
  • Be responsible for the annual security budget performance and direct security involvement for all new construction

that occurs at the site to verify compliance with security controls.

  • Maintain local security incident database and make sure all critical security incidents are timely reported to the

Regional Security Manager according the defined reporting protocol.

  • Conduct investigations of violations of site security rules and regulations.
  • Respond to all critical situations at a site and acts as the security expert/consultant for the site crisis management team, including timely reporting and update to regional security manager.
  • Promote security awareness programs at site meetings and via communications to employees.
  • Conduct regular security risk self-assessments to determine appropriate protection levels.
  • Serve as primary interface with local law enforcement, other industry security representatives and emergency

response organizations.

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the facility, including maintenance, janitorial services, security, and landscaping.
  • Develop and manage the budget for the facility, ensuring that all expenses are within budget and that cost-saving measures are implemented where possible.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures for the facility, ensuring that they are in compliance with all relevant regulations and laws.
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure that the facility is meeting the needs of the business.
  • Develop and implement sustainability initiatives, including waste reduction, energy efficiency, and green procurement.
  • Ensure that the facility is safe and compliant with all relevant health and safety regulations, and that all incidents are reported and investigated promptly.

What you’ll need

  • 7 to 10 years of experience in a security related field.
  • Experienced in supervising or leading a team.
  • Experienced in developing effective process flows, risk assessment and analysis.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills including the ability to effectively deal with all levels of local
  • Proven ability to quickly and maturely assimilate information, derive appropriate solution and make decisions.
  • Incident/crisis management /project management skills and extensive physical & technical security knowledge.
  • Able to conduct investigations and rendering detailed, concise and accurate reports.
  • Sufficient English language skills (both oral and written).
