HOW A PROJECT TASK SENIOR MANAGER WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:

• Understanding various software development methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, and DevOps.
• Knowledge of software testing and quality assurance processes to ensure the application meets functional and performance requirements.
• Understanding the deployment pipelines to manage changes and ensure a controlled release process.
• Awareness of application security best practices to ensure the application is protected against vulnerabilities and threats.
• Managing third-party software or services, managing, and collaborating with external vendors.
• Identifying and mitigating risks specific to application development, such as technology-related risks or changed in scope or schedule.
• An understanding of Change Management process and procedures to support any change to scope or requirements.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

• BA/BS
• 5 years of project management experience
• Expertise with Agile methodologies and project management tools
• Accurate and comprehensive documentation of project plans, status reports, and technical specifications.
• Effective allocation and management of resources, including development teams, to meet project objectives.
• Perform risk management to mitigate and minimize project risks
• Coordinating communications with project stakeholders
• Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors
• Ensure resource availability and allocation (PTO, timesheet mgmt., overall project schedule)
• Coordinating and facilitating escalations
• Management oversight on all project documentation, including project deliverables
• Develop a detailed project plan to track progress
• Ability to maintain SharePoint site
• Manage approval for changes in project scope
• Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope
• Ability to manage team of 13 resources: developers, business analysts, and testers

DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
• 2-5 years of development experience
• 5 years’ experience in Agile
• 2+ years’ experience in Confluence
• 2+ years’ experience in ServiceNow
• Familiarity with software development lifecycle (SDLC)
• Familiarity with Jira
• Proficiency in MS Office suite; must be proficient in MS Project
• Experience with SC360, Slack, and BPM

SECURITY CLEARANCE LEVEL:

• Ability to pass HHS and company background check to obtain a Public Trust Level 5 clearance.

The likely salary range for this position is $106,371 - $126,500. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
