Our turnkey solution tackles financing, vehicle procurement, infrastructure upgrade and maintenance to create a reliable and affordable fleet for our customers.

Summary:
The Partnerships Manager, Market Development, plays a pivotal role in fostering and managing strategic relationships with key stakeholders in the utility and industry sectors. This position requires a dynamic individual who can effectively communicate and collaborate with both internal and external partners to create and develop new opportunities.

The ideal candidate will be adept at navigating complex organizational structures and multi-party collaborations, will have in-depth understanding of transportation electrification and grid modernization, and experience working with partners in pursuit of incentive programs and other commercial opportunities.

This role is essential for the early stages of project formulation as it entails understanding the benefits of  innovative projects, identifying potential collaborations, and driving them to fruition.

Responsibilities:

Partnership Development:
  • Build and maintain relationships with strategic partners, including utility stakeholders and industry leaders
  • Develop and communicate ideas and strategies to potential partners, fostering trust and collaboration
  • Identify intersections between Highland Electric Fleets and potential partners to create mutually beneficial opportunities
  • Work on early-stage projects to identify potential collaborations and opportunities
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure goal alignment with external partners and drive successful project execution

  • Funding Opportunity Management
  • Manage review, evaluation, and decision-making for the ticketing system for grant and RFPs support
  • Research and evaluate grant opportunities, providing recommendations on whether to pursue them
  • Facilitate internal communications to ensure efficient decision-making and project management

  • Content Development
  • Analyze and distill complex information into clear, digestible materials for internal and external stakeholders
  • Research, rapidly learn and teach others about new grant programs, including rules and guidelines

  • Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in building and managing strategic partnerships within the clean energy and/or transportation sectors
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to convey complex ideas clearly and persuasively.
  • Experience in content production, with the ability to quickly process and teach new information
  • Demonstrated experience in managing the pursuit of funding opportunities, including research, evaluation, and decision-making
  • Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines
  • Ability to navigate complex organizational structures and facilitate effective internal and external communications
  • A proactive and innovative mindset, comfortable working on ambiguous projects and identifying new opportunities.
