Microsoft Purview Compliance Delivery Manager  
Location: Fully Remote (US or Canada)
Job Type: FTE
Department: Compliance/IT Security 
Salary: $150,000-$200,000 with bonus opportunity

Job Description: As the Compliance Delivery Manager, you’ll manage the delivery team responsible for the Compliance Partner of the Year 2024 award from Microsoft for high-quality Purview deployment projects. You’ll oversee a diverse team of Purview Architects & Engineers, helping strengthen their technical skills and ensure strong project delivery. You will oversee delivery of Purview projects with wide-ranging use cases and complex, enterprise-scale delivery strategies for clients of many verticals. You’ll develop new Compliance offers to increase our ability to deliver client solutions. Lastly, you’ll help develop client-facing Statements of Work and Budgetary Estimates to ensure successful presales motions.
An ideal candidate would demonstrate the following:
  • Strong technical skills in Microsoft 365 Purview and Microsoft Purview in Azure
  • Experience in overseeing client delivery for Purview work, coaching delivery team members with effective guidance.
  • Strong people management skills through guiding skill development and employee satisfaction by leading with empathy and drive.
  • Effective technical writing skills, especially creating pre-sales materials such as client contracts, estimates, pitch decks, and relevant materials.
Key Responsibilities: 
  • Own the management responsibility of the Compliance delivery practice to increase long-term revenue.
  • Coach employees how to develop policies and controls for data classification, retention, and protection, ensuring compliance with organizational and regulatory standards. 
  • Drive new business through offer development and cross-practice collaboration.
  • Coordinate with different teams to integrate Purview with other Azure services and Microsoft 365 applications. 
  • Provide technical guidance for clients, team members and stakeholders on Microsoft Purview capabilities and best practices. 
Required Skills and Qualifications: 
  • Prior people management experience
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 & Azure architecture, services, and security best practices. 
  • Proficient in Microsoft 365 administration and security configurations. 
  • Experience with Microsoft Purview, including data governance, compliance management, and risk assessment functionalities. Specific experience strongly recommended and will be thoroughly assessed in technical interviews.
  • Familiarity with compliance standards such as GDPR, HIPAA, ISO 27001, etc. 
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. 
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills. 
Preferred Qualifications: 
  • Azure or Microsoft 365 certifications related to security and compliance. 
  • Experience in scripting and automation using PowerShell, Azure CLI, or similar technologies. 
  • Background in IT compliance, risk management, or related fields. 
  • Experience deploying other Microsoft 365 and Azure tools including Microsoft Defender, Microsoft Entra, Microsoft Intune, and more.
  • CISSP certification.
  • Relevant Microsoft role-based certifications.
Education: 
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
