Job Description

As a Remote Account Manager for the Agilent Cell Analysis division, you will collaborate with the Cell Analysis Field Sales team, Marketing, and the Services organization to implement strategic remote sales initiatives. You will be responsible for a broad range of products within the Cell Analysis division that includes instruments, software, and consumables.

Responsibilities include:

  • Promoting and selling Agilent Cell Analysis products through remote outbound sales activities.

  • Focus on acquiring new customers while retaining and growing an existing install base. 

  • Leverage digital selling tools and analytics to connect with potential buyers, nurture relationships and drive sales.

  • Application of in-depth technical knowledge of the Cell Analysis portfolio of products.

  • Work on remote sales assignments with broadly defined objectives.

  • Apply rigor to Salesforce CRM updates including the addition of call notes, emails, marketing attributes, and customer contact information.

  • You may act as the sole sales representative for an assigned territory, industry, account, or product.

  • You may carry a team quota or an individual quota.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemistry, Biology, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Cellular Biology or equivalent Life Sciences degree is required.

  • 0-2 years relevant experience in Sales and Account Management in the Life Sciences Industry.

  • Sales experience with academic, biopharma, government and large multi-national accounts.

  • Ability to work in a matrix-based environment.

  • 0-2 years of experience working within a CRM system to manage pipelines & sales activities (Salesforce CRM preferred).

  • Demonstrated ability to be a positive team player across diverse internal and external organizations.

  • An open mind, excellent oral and written communication skills, a keen listening ability, attention to detail, and the ability to manage relationships with a diverse client base and work as part of an integrated team.

Additional Details

This job has a full time weekly schedule. It includes the option to work remotely. Applications for this job will be accepted until at least October 24, 2024 or until the job is no longer posted. It is sales incentive eligible.

The full-time equivalent pay range for this position is $28.20 - $55.45/hr plus eligibility for bonus, stock and benefits. Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
