  • Accurately transcribe audio recordings of depositions, hearings, and other judicial proceedings.
  • Maintain strict adherence to client-specific style guides and formatting requirements.
  • Ensure confidentiality and exercise discretion when handling sensitive information.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members for support and clarification as needed.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience in legal transcription, court reporting, or scoping is essential.
  • Exceptional listening and comprehension skills for accurate transcription.
  • Strong command of grammar, spelling, and overall literacy.
  • Proficiency in typing with both speed and accuracy.
  • Familiarity with legal terminology is critical.
  • Ability to process complex audio/text content, which may include challenging material.
  • Must successfully pass a background check prior to engagement.

Qualifications

  • Significant experience in transcribing legal documents, depositions, and hearings is required.
  • Court reporting students may also be considered for this role.
