VIQ Solutions, a leader in transcription services for legal and judicial sectors, is seeking experienced Legal/Judicial contract professionals adept in transcribing depositions and hearings. This is a fully remote opportunity for Independent Contractors who are looking to leverage their expertise in a technology-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Accurately transcribe depositions, hearings, and other judicial proceedings.
  • Process audio recordings with meticulous attention to detail, ensuring adherence to established style guides and producing verbatim transcripts.
  • Collaborate effectively with the supportive in-office team as required.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience in court reporting, scoping, or legal transcription is essential.
  • Exceptional listening skills, coupled with strict adherence to deadlines and client-specific style guides.
  • Excellent literacy skills, including strong comprehension, spelling, and grammar.
  • Proficiency in typing speed and accuracy.
  • Familiarity with legal terminology is critical.
