Job Overview

We are excited to announce an opening for a Senior Environmental Project Manager specializing in pipe-lining projects, with a strong emphasis on FERC Section 7© regulations. This role is entirely remote, allowing candidates based in the USA to leverage their expertise from anywhere.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage multiple environmental projects, guiding them from the initial routing and siting phase through to construction compliance.
  • Direct multidisciplinary resource teams in conducting environmental studies and navigating permit applications, especially focusing on FERC Section 7© and Third-party EIS documentation.
  • Collaborate effectively with federal, state, and local agencies to ensure compliance and successful project execution.
  • Engage with various stakeholders, including public entities, through meetings and hearings to foster community and regulatory engagement.
  • Oversee all aspects of project management, including scope, budget, scheduling, and forecasting, to ensure timely delivery.
  • Participate in business development initiatives and represent the company at industry conferences to expand professional networks.
  • Conduct field reviews and compliance inspections to maintain project integrity and adherence to environmental standards.

Required Skills

  • In-depth knowledge of FERC regulations and federal environmental guidelines.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong organizational aptitude and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor's degree in Environmental Planning, Geography, Environmental Science, or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in environmental licensing and permitting specifically related to pipeline projects.
  • Professional certifications are advantageous but not mandatory.
