The ideal candidate will possess demonstrable experience with FERC Section 7© and Third-party EIS documentation, as these qualifications are critical for this position.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee multiple projects from the routing and siting phase through to construction compliance.
  • Lead resource teams in conducting environmental studies and preparing permit applications, specifically including FERC Section 7© and Third-party EIS documentation.
  • Facilitate coordination with federal, state, and local agencies.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including engineers, legal experts, and GIS analysts.
  • Engage with the public and stakeholders during hearings and meetings to ensure transparency and compliance.
  • Manage project scope, budget, schedule, and future forecasting effectively.
  • Participate in business development initiatives and represent the company at industry conferences.
  • Conduct field reviews and compliance inspections to uphold project standards.

Required Skills

  • Extensive knowledge of environmental licensing and permitting processes.
  • Proficiency in FERC regulations and federal environmental mandates.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree (B.S. or B.A.) in Environmental Planning, Geography, Environmental Science, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in environmental licensing and permitting specific to pipeline projects.
  • Proven expertise in navigating FERC regulations and federal environmental legislation.
