Job Overview

As a Senior Loan Processor, you will play a pivotal role in managing all aspects of residential home loan processing. Your expertise will directly contribute to facilitating timely loan closings, ensuring compliance, and providing exceptional support to various stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Collect and order essential third-party documentation for residential loan applications, constructing and maintaining organized mortgage loan files.
• Act as the primary liaison for title companies, real estate agents, mortgage loan officers, borrowers, and underwriters, promoting efficient loan closing processes.
• Verify that all loan files, credit documentation, and disclosure packages adhere to company policies and comply with state and federal regulations.
• Submit necessary loan file documentation accurately through required software systems.
• Gather and validate loan documentation, including title insurance, loan applications, credit reports, appraisals, and income/asset declarations, ensuring timely submission to underwriting for approval.

• In-depth knowledge of residential mortgage products, including FNMA, FHA, VA, USDA, and Conventional loans; familiarity with commercial loans and refinancing is advantageous.

• A high school diploma is mandatory; a Bachelor's degree is preferred.
• A minimum of 8 years of experience in mortgage loan processing is essential, including familiarity with various loan types and regulatory standards.
