Job Title: Litigation Case Manager / Paralegal - Remote | WFH

Job Overview

We are in search of a proficient Litigation Paralegal to play a pivotal role within our trial team. In this critical position, you will be responsible for coordinating all aspects of the litigation process before, during, and after trial. Your contributions will support various phases of litigation, including conducting interviews, executing legal research, managing documentation, and attending trials. The ideal candidate will thrive in a dynamic legal environment and actively contribute to our success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare a variety of legal documents, including pleadings, motions, affidavits, complaints, and legal memoranda.
  • Organize exhibits, documentation, evidence, briefs, and appendices effectively.
  • E-file documents across both federal and state courts.
  • Prepare discovery documents, including interrogatories and responses.
  • Draft and serve summons as required.
  • Coordinate depositions and prepare associated materials.
  • Assemble comprehensive deposition and hearing binders, inclusive of exhibits.
  • Draft pleadings, motions, and appellate documents, ensuring timely submission to the courts.
  • Interface with clients to provide updates on case status and gather necessary discovery documents.
  • Gather relevant information from various sources to support litigation efforts.
  • Act as a liaison between attorneys and external entities, such as co-counsel, opposing counsel, and court personnel.

Required Skills

  • Solid general litigation experience, preferably within federal court.
  • Strong knowledge of motions, discovery, evidence, court rules, and legal procedures.
  • Exceptional organizational and time-management skills, capable of navigating multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

  • Associate degree, certificate, or equivalent work experience preferred.
  • A minimum of 2+ years of experience in legal services, ideally within a law firm setting.
  • Completion of a nationally accredited paralegal program is advantageous.

Salary Range

The compensation for this position ranges from \(55,000 to \)80,000 per annum, commensurate with experience and qualifications.

Work Schedule

This is a full-time, on-site position located in Fort Lauderdale. The standard schedule is Monday through Friday, with 8-hour shifts from 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM. Please note that this role does not offer remote or hybrid work options.
