Join our expanding team at Harvia US as a Staff Accountant, a fully remote opportunity with options for hybrid work available. Based out of our Holland, MI office, you will be integral to our financial operations and contribute significantly to our success.

Job Overview

As a Staff Accountant, you will engage in essential financial tasks that include managing accounts payable and receivable, ensuring compliance with sales tax regulations, maintaining bank registers, and assisting in the preparation of month-end financial statements.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee accounts receivable and accounts payable processes
• Assist in creating month-end and other financial reports
• Collaborate on sales tax compliance with our external partner
• Maintain and manage bank registers
• Perform reconciliations and ensure accuracy in financial records
• Support the upkeep of precise financial documentation
  
  

Required Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration is preferred
• Minimum of 1 year experience in accounting, finance, or auditing
• Proficient in financial management software
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting
• Understanding of tax regulations and financial laws
• Ability to work autonomously and meet deadlines

Qualifications

• An undergraduate degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration is preferred
