Job Overview

We are a prestigious Digital Finance Transformation firm and an esteemed OneStream Diamond Partner, dedicated to empowering organizations in achieving their financial objectives through advanced solutions in Financial Transformation, Change Management, Process Automation, and OneStream Solutions. With a global presence in the U.S., Canada, Europe, and Australia, we cater to the diverse requirements of CFOs, Controllers, IT, and Business Unit Leaders. Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage Financial Force (Certinia) across multiple entities to ensure real-time and precise recording of financial transactions.
  • Handle Accounts Payable processes across various countries, including vendor management and timely disbursements.
  • Conduct weekly reviews of employee expenses for accuracy, especially concerning VAT and GST for UK, AU, and Canadian employees.
  • Analyze and reconcile financial discrepancies by gathering and scrutinizing account information to guarantee financial integrity.
  • Provide prompt and pertinent recording, reporting, and analysis of financial data to aid in decision-making.
  • Execute month-end closing activities, including bank and credit card reconciliations, journal entries, asset and depreciation tracking, AP invoice processing, intercompany revenue and cost entries, payroll adjustments, and departmental revenue and cost oversight.
  • Review and record expenses, transfers, and deposits for multiple banks and credit cards daily in the UK, AU, and Canada.
  • Update cash flow reports daily or weekly as required for UK, AU, and Canadian entities to support financial planning.
  • Maintain ongoing communication with external accountants and auditors, supplying requested documentation, addressing inquiries, and generating reports for regulatory and tax compliance.
  • Process payroll for employees in the UK, AU, and Canada, implementing necessary adjustments and journal entries.
  • Manage the onboarding of new hires into payroll and the offboarding of terminated employees.
  • Monitor staffing communications and update project teams in Salesforce (PSA) to ensure accurate invoicing rates.
  • Perform additional administrative duties as assigned.

Required Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting.
  • 3+ years of experience in an accounting-related position.
  • 2+ years of experience with payroll, preferably in an international context.
  • 2+ years of experience with Salesforce/Financial Force (Certinia).
  • 2+ years of experience in international accounting, particularly related to the UK, Canada, and Australia.
  • Proficiency in managing intercompany operations and financial transactions.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of UK VAT and Canada/AU GST returns and filings is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with time and expense recording systems.
  • Strong understanding of financial accounting principles and GAAP frameworks.
  • Excellent organizational capabilities and keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple projects promptly.
  • Experience in cultivating and maintaining relationships with remote teams.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and resolve challenges.
