Position Title: Staff Accountant - Remote

Role Overview

As a Staff Accountant, you will be instrumental in managing our monthly accounting processes for esteemed clients. Your role will encompass the accurate and timely execution of weekly and monthly accounting and reporting functions. Furthermore, you will be the primary liaison for maintaining robust client relationships and collaborating with them to enhance their financial management infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute standard general ledger tasks for dynamic clients, such as bank reconciliations, merchant processing reconciliations, coding transactions, payroll reconciliations, and inventory reconciliations.
  • Effectively communicate with clients regarding their accounting requirements.
  • Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.
  • Support various aspects of the month-end close and reporting processes.
  • Conduct additional balance sheet reconciliation tasks.
  • Engage in cleanup projects, system implementations, and the development of accounting processes.
  • Manage transactions and reconcile data across multiple platforms.
  • Provide assistance for ad hoc projects as necessary.

Required Skills

  • Detail-oriented with exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Strong time management capabilities, with the proficiency to prioritize and organize multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Proficient in Excel and QuickBooks (both Online and Desktop).
  • Excellent customer service skills with a background in client relations.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
  • Minimum of 2 years of accounting experience.
