Overview

We are seeking multiple Privacy Consultants to support and enhance our privacy compliance initiatives. This role involves the development and management of key privacy documents such as Records of Processing Activities (ROPA) and Privacy Impact Assessments (PIAs). The ideal candidate will have strong privacy subject matter expertise, combined with project management skills to support privacy-related projects. This is a remote position that requires a proactive, self-sufficient professional with excellent writing and communication skills.

Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To

  • Develop, update, and manage Records of Processing Activities (ROPA) and Privacy Impact Assessments (PIA) in line with legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Improve the management and oversight of ROPA and PIA processes to ensure efficiency and compliance.
  • Use privacy expertise to perform comprehensive privacy reviews across various business processes and systems, identifying risks and recommending mitigations.
  • Assist with privacy-related projects and initiatives, leveraging project management skills to ensure timely and effective delivery.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders, providing clear and actionable privacy guidance while ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Maintain an independent and self-driven approach to identifying privacy concerns, driving improvements, and ensuring compliance with privacy regulations.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Demonstrated experience with privacy regulations and compliance, particularly in developing ROPA, PIA, and other key privacy documents.
  • Proven ability to manage and deliver privacy projects, including timelines, documentation, and cross-functional coordination.
  • Strong writing skills with a focus on creating clear, concise, and comprehensive privacy documents and reports.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey privacy concepts and requirements to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Self-motivated and capable of working independently with minimal supervision in a fully remote setting.
  • Industry certifications such as CIPP/E, CIPM, CIPT, or CISSP. (preferred)
  • Experience with privacy laws such as GDPR, CCPA, and other global data protection regulations.
  • Experience in managing privacy programs and ensuring ongoing compliance across an organization.

Compensation range for position is $ 99,000 – 110,000 DOE.
