Your Role

As a Social Media Video Editor, You Will

Create compelling videos by adhering to project specifications, creative briefs, and brand guidelines.
Edit and optimize video content for various platforms, with a focus on social media (both paid and organic channels).
Adjust color grading to achieve various visual styles.
Source licensed assets, including graphics, music, and footage.
Collaborate with the production team to understand project requirements and meet client needs.
Conduct thorough reviews of edited videos to address errors, inconsistencies, or discrepancies.
Manage assets and media libraries systematically for efficient workflow.
Handle multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and priorities.
Maintain seamless communication with the production team to ensure timely project completion.
Continuously explore new editing technologies and industry best practices to improve efficiency.

Non-negotiable Requirements:

3 to 5 years of proven experience in video editing.
Experience in quickly editing videos for paid and social media channels is essential.
A portfolio showcasing work for social media platforms (TikTok and Instagram) for both paid and organic channels is a must.
Proficiency in editing raw footage, performing color grading, conducting quality checks, and sourcing licensed assets is required.
Solid experience with editing software packages, including Canva, Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, and DaVinci Resolve, is necessary.
Motion Graphics: Ability to create stylized graphics for video content.
Visual Effects (VFX): Experience incorporating visual effects, including 3D animation and compositing.
Previous experience in a marketing or agency setting is preferred.
Familiarity with project management tools, such as Asana, and communication platforms, like Slack, is advantageous.
Experience in live event editing, VR content, and UGC video editing is also beneficial.
