Project Revenue & Cost Accounting Manager

Our client is looking for a Project Revenue & Cost Accounting Manager to join their team. The Project Revenue & Cost Accounting Manager will oversee the financial operations related to revenue recognition and cost accounting within the organization. This role will be responsible for managing revenue recognition processes, analyzing cost structures, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations.

This is a remote position; candidates must live in Oregon.

Project Revenue & Cost Accounting Manager Responsibilities

  • Product manufacturing project set-up, cost management or purchase orders, inventory and invoicing
  • Coding and tracking of costs and procurement of materials
  • Analyze project costs vs forecasted cost
  • Revenue recognition for projects, revenue forecasts and analysis of performance.
  • Monitor project margins
  • End account analysis and reconciliations for all managed accounts
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including operations and sales
  • Work closely with external auditors
  • Provide strategic financial inputs, analysis, and support for executive decision-making.

Project Revenue & Cost Accounting Manager Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or business
  • 5+ years of relevant experience
  • Strong understanding of US GAAP and revenue recognition.
  • Proven experience managing projects
  • Cost and revenue tracking, margin analysis, and inventory management.

Salary: $110k - $150K + 10% bonus (DOE)
