Position Objective, Key Responsibilities, and Duties

In the role of Senior Investment Service Associate, you will play an essential part in our Investment Team's Service and Support Group, ensuring that both our advisors and clients receive unparalleled assistance via our Managed Account Platform (MAP). Your primary focus will be to support advisors in operational, service, and technology-related queries concerning MAP, collaborating effectively with team members to deliver accurate and timely support. This is a fully remote position, with working hours from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm Eastern.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary liaison between advisors, MAP, the Investment Team, and our technology vendor.
  • Develop in-depth expertise in our technology and services, offering training and guidance to advisors as required.
  • Assist advisors in transitioning their business portfolios to MAP from alternative platforms.
  • Ensure completeness of new account forms and facilitate their proper setup on MAP.
  • Review updates to existing accounts for precision and implement changes accordingly.
  • Process standard service and trading requests from advisors for their client accounts, confirming completion and communicating outcomes.
  • Address special service requests from advisors, evaluating the most effective response or action needed.
  • Create and maintain model portfolio allocations for both home office and advisor portfolios, ensuring thorough documentation of changes.
  • Collaborate with the Investment Team to assess issues and implement suitable remedies, while monitoring the platform for compliance and regulatory risks.
  • Gather feedback from advisors to propose enhancements in workflow and platform improvements.

Required Skills

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience within the wealth management sector.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in investment wealth management.
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities, alongside a meticulous attention to detail and a responsive approach.
  • Capacity to manage multiple tasks and projects concurrently.
  • Proven accountability for meeting deadlines and executing tasks efficiently.
  • Creative and effective problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

  • Familiarity with the processes involved in opening, trading, rebalancing, reallocating, and servicing client accounts.
  • Experience with trading technology such as Vestmark or other asset management platforms like Envestnet and Assetmark.
  • Possession of Series 7 and Series 66, or a combination of Series 63⁄65 (or willingness to obtain these within the first year).

Compensation And Benefits

The compensation for this role typically ranges from \(60,000 to \)80,000, subject to adjustment based on education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, and performance. A bonus program is also included.
