Join our esteemed law firm as a Litigation Paralegal in a fully remote capacity! We are currently seeking a highly skilled Litigation Paralegal to enhance our Litigation Practice Group. The successful candidate will excel in a dynamic legal environment, showcasing strong multitasking abilities and a commitment to delivering outstanding service to our clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee calendar management for attorneys, organizing conferences, depositions, and travel plans.
  • Prepare and compile documentation for state and federal court filings, including discovery and appeals.
  • Manage incoming and outgoing mail, ensuring the timely handling of essential correspondence.
  • Draft legal documents and correspondence, while also coordinating logistics for court-related needs.
  • Maintain comprehensive client files, both in digital and physical formats.
  • Deliver exceptional client interactions, ensuring professionalism and confidentiality.
  • Support billing processes by inputting time entries and reviewing invoices.
  • Track continuing education requirements for attorneys to maintain compliance.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve team objectives and assist with additional responsibilities as needed.

Required Skills

  • A minimum of 7 years of experience as a legal secretary, with a strong foundation in civil litigation practices.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and familiar with document management systems.
  • Exceptional drafting, proofreading, and client-focused communication skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of court procedures and e-filing systems such as PACER and CM/ECF.
  • Excellent organizational abilities, enabling effective multitasking and deadline management.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and strong analytical problem-solving skills.
  • Flexibility to independently manage multiple projects and assignments.

Qualifications

  • Extensive experience in civil litigation and knowledge of state and federal filing protocols.
  • A Bachelor’s degree in a related field is preferred, along with paralegal certification.
