Job Overview

We are pleased to announce an opportunity for passionate and dedicated educators to join our part-time faculty instructor pool for remote teaching positions. This role allows instructors to engage with students in a dynamic and supportive environment across a variety of subject areas.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality instruction in your assigned courses, inspiring and engaging students throughout the learning process.
• Utilize video technology to provide live, interactive instruction via Microsoft Teams.
• Prepare course materials and distribute them through our advanced learning management system.
• Maintain effective communication with students and faculty, fostering an inclusive and collaborative learning atmosphere.
• Additional responsibilities may be assigned as necessary.
  
  

Required Skills

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Proficiency in using technology tools for effective teaching and course management.
• Ability to foster student engagement and inspire learning across a diverse range of subjects.
  
  

Qualifications

Candidates must meet the following criteria:

• A Master's degree in the specific discipline or a related field with relevant graduate coursework, or
• A Master's degree in a related field with at least 18 graduate hours specific to the discipline, or
• A Master's degree in a related field with a minimum of 6 graduate hours specific to the discipline, coupled with:
• Two years or four academic terms of experience teaching discipline-specific courses at the college level, or
• Five years of teaching experience at the secondary level (grades 7-12) with a valid Pennsylvania professional teaching license.
