Metal Toad is a fully remote organization with all employees having the option to work from home. The candidate must be able to work between 8 AM and 5 PM Pacific Time (PST) from Monday through Friday.

Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Google and Paid Social Ads Expert to join our team and manage our clients' advertising campaigns across various platforms, including Google Ads (Google Grant, Search, Display, Shopping, Performance Max, YouTube) and paid social media channels such as Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok. The ideal candidate will have expertise in both Google Grant PPC and general Google Ads management, as well as proficiency in managing Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok ads. This position will start part-time, with the potential to move to full-time if a good fit is found. The role demands experience in setting up GA4 and GTM tracking, reporting, and clearly communicating campaign strategies and results to clients.

Key Responsibilities:

Google Grant Management:

  • Acquire and manage Google Grants for clients, ensuring full compliance with Google's policies.
  • Optimize Google Grant campaigns to maximize ad spend efficiency, driving awareness and conversions.
  • Conduct keyword research, develop ad copy, and optimize landing pages to improve Quality Scores and campaign performance.
  • Monitor performance and make data-driven adjustments to enhance click-through rates, conversions, and ROI.

Google Ads Management (Search, Display, Shopping, YouTube, Performance Max):

  • Develop, implement, and manage a variety of Google Ads campaigns, including Search, Display, Shopping, YouTube, and Performance Max, tailored to client goals.
  • Conduct ongoing optimizations, including A/B testing, bid management, and audience targeting, to ensure high-performing campaigns.
  • Analyze data and provide actionable insights to continuously improve campaign effectiveness and achieve client objectives.

Paid Social Advertising (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok):

  • Strategize, create, and manage Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok ad campaigns, including feed ads, Stories, Reels, video ads, and carousel ads.
  • Conduct audience targeting, including custom and lookalike audiences, to reach the right users at the right time.
  • Optimize creative assets, ad placements, and bidding strategies to maximize conversions, engagement, and ROI across all platforms.
  • Stay up-to-date with platform updates and algorithm changes to ensure best practices are applied.

GA4 and GTM Setup & Management:

  • Set up and configure Google Analytics 4 (GA4) and Google Tag Manager (GTM) for accurate tracking, reporting, and measurement.
  • Implement tracking tags, custom events, and conversion tracking to monitor campaign performance and user behavior.
  • Conduct regular audits to troubleshoot and resolve tracking issues, ensuring data accuracy.

Reporting and Client Communication:

  • Generate regular performance reports for the team and clients, highlighting key metrics, insights, and recommendations.
  • Provide clear, in-depth analysis of campaign data to identify trends and opportunities for optimization.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, presenting findings, explaining strategies, and recommending ongoing improvements.
  • Manage client relationships and ensure expectations are met through regular updates and performance reviews.

Requirements:

  • At least 3 years of proven experience in managing Google Ads across multiple formats (Search, Display, Shopping, YouTube, Performance Max).
  • Expertise managing Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok paid advertising campaigns, including audience targeting and ad optimization.
  • Experience with acquiring and managing Google Grants for nonprofits.
  • Proficiency in setting up and managing GA4 and GTM for accurate tracking and reporting.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and provide actionable insights.
  • Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain complex strategies to clients.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Google Ads and Facebook Blueprint certifications are preferred.
