About this role

We're partnering with a leading telecoms organisation to replace their legacy threat hunting platform with Elastic, enhancing efficiency and speed while processing 90TB of data daily. We're seeking an experienced Solution Architect/Elastic Architect to design and implement a robust, scalable Elasticsearch solution that meets our client's complex needs.

Your Responsibilities

As our Solution Architect/Elastic Architect, you will be responsible for designing and architecting Elasticsearch solutions tailored to our client's large-scale data processing requirements. You'll leverage your deep understanding of infrastructure and networking concepts to ensure seamless integration with existing systems. Your expertise in on-premise deployments will be crucial as you lead the implementation of the new Elastic-based threat-hunting platform. You'll also be tasked with optimising storage solutions to efficiently handle the 80TB daily data load, ensuring high performance and reliability.

Proven ability to design and architect complex Elasticsearch solutions
In-depth knowledge of infrastructure and networking concepts
Extensive experience with on-premise deployments
Strong expertise in Elasticsearch and large-scale storage solutions
Experience in the telecommunications sector is a plus
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
Strong communication skills and ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
Relevant certifications (e.g., Elastic Certified Engineer, AWS/Azure/GCP certifications) are advantageous
