We are currently seeking a 100% Remote Senior Environmental Pipe-lining Project Manager with expertise in FERC Section 7© regulations. This role is vital for managing environmental strategies and services for midstream pipeline projects involving natural gas, hydrogen, and crude oil. Candidates must demonstrate relevant experience with FERC Section 7© and Third-party EIS documentation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the management of several projects from routing and siting through to construction compliance.
  • Direct resource teams responsible for conducting environmental studies and preparing permit applications.
  • Liaise effectively with federal, state, and local regulatory agencies.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including engineers, attorneys, and GIS analysts, to ensure project success.
  • Serve as a primary point of communication with the public and stakeholders during hearings and meetings.
  • Manage project scope, budget, schedules, and forecasting to deliver results on time.
  • Participate in business development activities and represent the company at industry conferences.
  • Conduct thorough field reviews and compliance inspections to ensure adherence to regulations.

Required Skills

  • Strong knowledge of FERC and federal environmental regulations.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Highly organized with a keen attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
  • Familiarity with project management tools such as MS Project, Teams, and MS Dynamics.

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor's degree in Environmental Planning, Geography, Environmental Science, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in environmental licensing and permitting specific to pipeline projects.
