Job Title: Field Marketing Events Manager - Remote

Job Overview

We are on the lookout for a skilled Field Marketing Events Manager to join our innovative North America Field Marketing team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for shaping and executing our event strategies in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. Your contributions will play a vital role in fostering a culture that values diversity, inclusivity, and authenticity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Formulate and implement a comprehensive field marketing events strategy tailored for North America, aimed at enhancing prospect engagement, generating pipeline opportunities, and accelerating sales.
  • Create and oversee the marketing approach for our participation in trade shows and other significant events.
  • Manage all logistical aspects of events including integrated marketing tactics, staffing, giveaways, booth design, and lead capture strategies.
  • Coordinate overall planning, scheduling, budgeting, and travel logistics for events.
  • Ensure impeccable execution of events while continually seeking improvement opportunities.
  • Collaborate closely with Field Sales leaders and regional teams to develop effective event support plans.
  • Optimize participation in branded events to target the appropriate customer base and surpass opportunity goals.
  • Supervise the field marketing event budget, ensuring accurate expense tracking and reconciliation.
  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with vendors, negotiating contracts and leveraging vendor programs effectively.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to manage all components of the event program.
  • Provide strategic consulting for Business Development, Channel Sales, and Sales Leadership to create quarterly field and partner event plans.
  • Conduct assessments post-events to evaluate outcomes, measure ROI, and refine future programs.
  • Adapt strategies to align with evolving market conditions, sales team needs, and business objectives.
  • Willingness to travel 50-60% for event attendance.

Required Skills

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in event and tradeshow marketing, including planning, budgeting, and execution.
  • Strong vendor management and budgeting proficiency.
  • Experience in managing various vendor relationships, including booth properties and tradeshow management firms.
  • Proven experience in overseeing a comprehensive events or field marketing program consisting of at least 20 events annually.
  • Basic familiarity with productivity tools like SFDC, Marketo, etc.
  • Proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a knack for presentations and training.
  • Capacity to manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously, demonstrating strong organizational abilities.
  • Team-oriented mindset with robust project management skills.
  • A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
