Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Audit and Assurance Manager to lead our audit and assurance teams within a fast-paced public accounting setting. In this pivotal role, your deep understanding of assurance principles and managerial accounting will be instrumental in delivering superior service to our clients and driving the firm’s strategic goals forward.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor audit and assurance teams to ensure the timely and accurate completion of engagements.
  • Supervise the creation of audit documentation, reports, and schedules to ensure clarity and adherence to compliance standards.
  • Formulate and disseminate best practices for audit and assurance procedures to improve team efficacy.
  • Provide guidance and support to team members, fostering a culture of collaboration that drives successful outcomes.
  • Conduct thorough reviews and analyses of audit workpapers to guarantee accuracy and compliance with professional standards.
  • Cultivate and maintain robust relationships with clients and industry stakeholders.
  • Effectively present audit findings and results during client meetings.
  • Identify and recommend opportunities for process improvements and cost-saving strategies.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or a relevant discipline.
  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience in assurance, managerial accounting, and/or public accounting.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of assurance principles and accounting processes.
  • Exceptional communication, organizational, and analytical skills.
  • High commitment to ethical standards and confidentiality in all engagements.
  • Proficient in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • A valid Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license is mandatory.
