What you'll do...

Enterprise Business Services is invested in building a compact, robust organization that includes service operations and technology solutions for Finance, People, Associate Digital Experience Walmart Global Tech India is focused on deploying Enterprise solutions across all our global business markets. The team delivers solutions across various domains like Finance, People, Real Estate, Indirect Spend Management, Manufacturing and Retail. The charter for the Global Business Services team is to deliver on the goal of Everyday Low Cost (EDLC) by driving efficiency in all the back-office processes, through technology. Combining Technologists with Business Analysts and data experts, we build and deploy solutions that support billions of transactions every month.

What will you do:

You will be part of a global engineering team set up that caters to several businesses across the globe at Walmart. The team leverages/implements standard modules as well as builds custom developments that integrate with several systems meant for People related solutions. Your code / solutions could potentially enable millions of users achieve efficiency in their day-to-day processes and thus enable massive cost savings for Walmart. As a part of the team that works on SAP EWM (Extended Warehouse Management) for multiple Walmart markets you will have a significant impact on Walmart’s Global Business Services. You will partner with Walmart engineering teams across geographies to leverage expertise and deliver successfully across projects.

Your Responsibility shall include:

  • Through this role you have an opportunity to develop intuitive software that meets and exceeds the needs of the customer and the company.
  • You also get to collaborate with team members to develop best practices and client requirements for the software.
  • In this role it would be important for you to professionally maintain all codes and create updates regularly to address the customer’s and company’s concerns
  • You will show your skills in analyzing and testing programs/products before formal launch to ensure flawless performance
  • Troubleshooting coding problems quickly and efficiently will offer you a chance to grow your skills in a high-pace, high-impact environment.
  • Software security is of prime importance and by developing programs that monitor sharing of private information, you will be able to add tremendous credibility to your work
  • You will also be required to seek ways to improve the software and its effectiveness.
  • You will be called upon to support the coaching and training of other team members to ensure all employees are confident in the use of software applications

Your qualifications shall include

  • MBA or equivalent post graduation in Supply Chain Management or any other relevant qualification.
  • Experienced in –
    • 6+ years of experience in SAP EWM (Extended Warehouse Management)
    • 1 to 2 implementations in SAP EWM or SAP WM solution
    • Experience with minimum of 1-2 full cycle implementations of SAP EWM or WM module
    • Good understanding of Warehouse operational functions and business processes.
  • Strong exposure of SAP EWM Outbound, Inbound and Internal processes with VAS, Quality Inspections and EGR, Wave Management, Physical Inventory, Posting Changes
  • Experience in creation of Master Data i.e. Packaging Specifications, Warehouse Organizational Structure, Settings for Handling Units etc. Must have sound knowledge and experience in configuring/modifying Post Processing Framework in SAP EWM. Along with a strong expertise in setting up the system integration between SAP ERP with SAP EWM
  • Extensive experience in analysis, design, development, testing, implementation, and documentation

Additional Qualifications:

  • Proficient experience in interface development (RFC/ALE/IDoc/Web Services)
  • Experience in SAP Mobile Technologies Implementations is plus using: SAP Console/ITS Mobile/RFID for Radio Frequency Framework Solution design
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in implementing Labour Management, Yard Management and Cross Docking in Warehouse Management
  • Energetic, self-motivated individual focused on solving customer problems.
  • A customer facing leader with greater understanding of WM business processes, running workshops etc.
  • Understanding SLA (Service Level Agreement) for Technology Support Service.
  • Good to have production support exposure, diverse level (L1, L2, L3 etc.) of defect fixing & tracking on ServiceNOW.
  • Responsive team player who can proactively contribute at an individual level.
  • Thrives in a fun, fast-paced, dynamic, startup-like environment.
  • Good working experience and understanding of Agile tools like JIRA
