Job Overview

We invite you to become a vital member of our esteemed Federal Solution Consulting team. In this pivotal position, you will significantly contribute to our trajectory of success by supporting Solution Sales for Employee Experience, Customer Workflow, and ITX. Your collaboration with Sales, Product Management, and our executive team will be instrumental in driving revenue for our innovative product offerings. This is a hands-on technical consulting position where your expertise will enhance solution delivery and positioning throughout the sales journey.

Key Responsibilities

As an Advisory Solution Consultant, you will:

  • Act as a technical and domain authority on a client-facing sales team to facilitate product sales.
  • Conduct discovery workshops to uncover customer challenges and deliver product demonstrations tailored to their specific needs.
  • Address technical queries and product feature inquiries from customers, channel partners, and colleagues.
  • Provide constructive feedback to Product Management regarding potential enhancements that could better meet customer requirements.
  • Exchange best practices with fellow Solution Consultants to improve overall team quality and efficiency.
  • Maintain awareness of competitive analysis and market differentiation.
  • Participate in marketing initiatives, including executive briefings, conferences, user groups, and trade shows.

Required Skills

To excel in this role, you should possess:

  • Over 7 years of pre-sales solution consulting or sales engineering experience in a relevant product area.
  • Proficiency with cloud software solutions and technical expertise in the platform.
  • Strong territory management skills alongside a capability for pipeline development, ensuring execution excellence in collaboration with Sales counterparts.
  • A collaborative ethos and experience in working with Product Management, Product Marketing, partners, and professional services.
  • Willingness to travel as required.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in pre-sales solution consulting or sales engineering.

Compensation And Benefits

For positions based in the District of Columbia, we offer a competitive base salary range of \(140,400 - \)231,600, alongside potential equity (where applicable), variable/incentive compensation, and a comprehensive benefits package. Compensation is determined based on various factors, including qualifications, skill level, competencies, and location.
