Join our esteemed team at PostJobMatches By WorkStaff USA as a Remote/Hybrid Associate Electrical Engineer. This role offers the flexibility of working in the office only two days a week, with the remaining days working remotely. Candidates must possess electrical engineering experience within the state of California and will have the opportunity to work from our offices located in Los Angeles, San Diego, San Francisco, or Seattle, depending on proximity.

Key Responsibilities

As an Associate Electrical Engineer, you will leverage your technical expertise in building services systems across a diverse range of innovative projects. Your responsibilities will encompass:

  • Collaborating closely with clients, architects, and fellow engineers to deliver exceptional project outcomes
  • Generating detailed design drawings, electronic models, and specifications for a variety of electrical projects
  • Organizing technical and financial proposals for new work opportunities
  • Managing the workload of Project Discipline Engineers and Technicians while ensuring quality standards are met
  • Mentoring junior Electrical Engineers to foster their professional growth
  • Monitoring the financial performance of projects, including resource planning and expenditure management
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant building codes and legislation throughout all project stages

Required Skills

To excel in this role, candidates should demonstrate the following skills:

  • Extensive knowledge of electrical systems, with a proven ability to investigate and resolve technical issues
  • Strong client-facing communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Proficiency in Revit and familiarity with computational analysis tools relevant to electrical engineering
  • Ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team environment
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a capacity to propose multiple solutions to clients

Qualifications

We are seeking candidates who possess:

  • A relevant bachelor's or master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
