Position: Associate Attorney - Insurance Defense (Hybrid) - Remote | WFH

Job Overview

As an Associate Attorney at our firm, you will collaborate with clients and colleagues, delivering expert legal advice and representation in various insurance defense cases. This includes managing third-party property disputes, premises liability claims, personal injury protection (PIP) matters, and more. The role allows for a hybrid work arrangement, offering both flexibility and a robust in-house support system.

Key Responsibilities

  • Represent clients in civil litigation cases, including court appearances and interactions with government agencies.
  • Provide legal counsel regarding business transactions, liability claims, and other legal issues.
  • Accurately interpret laws, regulations, and rulings for clients.
  • Draft and prepare a variety of legal documents, such as contracts and deeds.
  • Collect evidence and conduct client interviews to support defense strategies or initiate legal proceedings.
  • Negotiate settlements for civil disputes and manage overall case progression.
  • Oversee administrative functions related to legal practice, including coordinating with legal assistants.
  • Formulate case strategies, present arguments to judges and juries, and strive for optimal client outcomes.
