Job Summary

Reporting to the VP, Regional Sales, Eastern Canada, the Account Manager brings an ability to naturally and proactively establish connections with others to optimize the customer experience. The successful candidate is a seasoned and motivated manager whose constant objective is to increase market share to achieve goals. The successful candidate is self-sufficient and likes taking initiative. The role will be accountable for South Shore of Montreal/East Townships and surroundings.

Job Duties

  • Maintain exceptional relationships with customers.
  • Ensure liaison and develop long term partnerships with lenders and stakeholders
  • Monitor and analyze the performance of each client and evaluate growth
  • Identify customer needs and opportunities
  • Develop and execute business strategies
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of Sagen’s products/services;
  • Identify and respond to customer training needs of your account base
  • Manage and control expense budget for maximum return
  • Demonstrate the ability to build and maintain relationships of trust with representatives of all levels, both internally and externally

Job Requirements

  • Bilingual in English and French
  • Customer-facing proactivity is at the heart of this position
  • University degree, preferably in business
  • Minimum 3 years sales experience in the financial services industry (preferably mortgage lending)
  • In-depth knowledge of sales techniques (in particular relationship selling), and customer management
  • Some travel required
  • Strong communication, negotiation, interpersonal, presentation and computer skills (Teams, Zoom, Power Point, Outlook et Sales Force)
  • Ability to produce results with minimum supervision, in a fast-paced change environment
  • Organizational and problem solving / analytical skills
