Job description

The Opportunity

Findex is offering an exciting opportunity for an experienced Change Partner to join our Enterprise Project Management Office (EPMO). As we experience significant growth and expand our remit, we’re bringing in new talent to complement our exceptional team. This role offers flexibility, with both permanent and max-term contracts available, and the option to work remotely from anywhere in Australia.

In this newly created position, you will collaborate closely with the Project Manager and key stakeholders to deliver highly strategic projects aimed at transforming our people, culture, and operating model. The goal of these initiatives is to foster a high-performing culture, enabling our teams to enhance service delivery and streamline client interactions. Your role will be pivotal in aligning people, operational, and client-facing teams, ensuring effective collaboration, communication, and delivery of outcomes.

As a Change Partner, you’ll work alongside both project management professionals and business stakeholders to foster collaboration and drive meaningful change. As an integral part of a matrixed project team, you’ll lead the people side of change by designing and implementing change management strategies that maximise employee adoption, minimise resistance, and embed sustainable change across the organisation.

This role is crucial in supporting our high-performance culture and aligning project outcomes with broader organisational transformation goals.

What will your typical week look like?

  • Design and implement best practice change management activities for strategic people and operating model transformation projects, ensuring smooth integration with existing processes and alignment with project objectives
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with senior leaders and key stakeholders to drive engagement and ensure buy-in for projects
  • Facilitate workshops and develop communication plans to keep stakeholders informed and engaged in change initiatives, while supporting managers through the transition process
  • Track and assess employee adoption, readiness, and the realisation of benefits, ensuring the success of projects
  • Identify, evaluate, and manage risks, issues, dependencies, and constraints associated with change readiness. Develop and implement solutions to overcome these challenges

Let’s talk about you!

To be successful you will possess the following skills, experience, and attributes:

  • 5+ years of experience in change management, with a strong focus on HR and organisational transformation
  • Proficiency in change management methodologies (such as Prosci®) and familiarity with project management frameworks like Waterfall, Agile and PRINCE2
  • A demonstrated ability to collaborate with senior stakeholders, influencing outcomes and managing change adoption
  • Strong facilitation and negotiation skills, with experience delivering workshops and communicating effectively across all levels of an organisation
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor messages to diverse audiences and communicate complex ideas succinctly for senior executives
  • Experience in large corporate environments, with exposure to financial or professional services (beneficial but not essential).

More about the perks

  • We offer full flexibility to work from anywhere in Australia and be part of a team that values innovation, collaboration, and getting results
  • Work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment where you can develop your skills and advance your career
  • Help shape the future of our organisation by driving key projects and initiatives
  • Enjoy the flexibility to work with a range of stakeholders and make a tangible impact on the success of our business
