Key Responsibilities:

· Roads/Civil Site design activities for projects and studies in various development stages: pre-feasibility, feasibility, concept design, basic design, detailed design, permitting.

· Engineering calculations and sizing.

· Being adept at using Total Survey Station.

· Reviewing Bill of quantities during work and reporting to QS & PM on variations.

· Technical support during construction works.

· Attendance to internal project review meetings.

· Attendance to meetings with clients together with PM (Project Manager).

· Reports progress on project activities to PM.

· Estimate duration, propose, and agree on deadlines with PM for allocated design activities.

· Supporting the PM in respect of onsite functions.

· Engineer to come in as part of our resurfacing team that contract to local authorities and to work within our Groundworks team in the building division.


Qualifications & Skills:

To qualify for this position, you must have current site experience including experience working with a Total Survey Station.

Essential requirements: Associate membership of a chartered engineering institution; An accredited three or four-year degree in civil engineering or engineering science.

Completion of postgraduate training and full membership of a chartered engineering institution. Please provide a work portfolio relevant to job.
