Job description

Where You’ll Work

All internships will be fully remote.

How You’ll Contribute

As an Actuarial Assistant Intern, you’ll help support the Inforce Management and Analytics team by assisting with Actuarial Present Value calculations, Cost of Insurance Review, process improvements, and various ad hoc requests. This position will contribute to the on-going effort to improve efficiency to support our business partners by delivering timely and accurate analysis.

In This Role, You’ll Get To

  • Run and analyze actuarial models including Prophet and Pathwise
  • Learn about Life and Annuity products and their features
  • Perform various Ad Hoc requests on Life and Annuity products
  • Improve, streamline, and document current processes

We’re Looking For People Who Have

  • Sophomores, Juniors and Seniors studying mathematics, statistics, actuarial science, or some other analytical field.
  • Actively studying for or taking pre-ASA level exams with the Society of Actuaries.
  • Strong computing and programming skills.
  • Strong communication skills.
