The Role at a Glance

This position will provide leadership and direction to ensure group results for his/her assigned area(s) of Marketing Technology (Salesforce, Oracle, Sales platforms) . S/he directs all elements of development, innovation and support, including implementing and executing application roadmaps and developing complex programs and projects across multiple platform and application suites.

  • Directs and enhances organizational initiatives by positively influencing and supporting change management and/or departmental/enterprise initiatives within assigned area(s) of responsibility.
  • Identifies and directs the implementation of process improvements that significantly reduce workloads or improve quality across the department for his/her assigned area(s) of responsibility.
  • Provides subject matter expertise to team members and internal/external stakeholders on complex assignments/projects for his/her assigned area(s) of responsibility.
  • Directs and evaluates individual/team performance and takes appropriate action to meet and/or exceed performance standards for assigned area(s) of responsibility.
  • Establishes and implements priorities, performance goals and objectives to ensure group results for his/her assigned area(s) of responsibility.
  • Ensures that top talent is hired and retained for his/her assigned area(s) of responsibility.
  • Builds organizational capability within his/her assigned area(s) of responsibility.
  • Directs & drives the development and execution of complex test plans (as applicable) to ensure accuracy & that the applications meet business needs.
  • Directs the assessment and/or assesses application solution design impacts on IT infrastructure capacity, application architecture standards, future maintenance/support needs & bottom line cost-benefits in consultation with appropriate stakeholders.
  • Provides comprehensive reviews of functional specifications, business requirement & test plans to ensure accurate system enhancements, optimize customer satisfaction & ensures the integrity of the platforms for his/her assigned area(s) of responsibility.
  • Provides expertise and collaborates with stakeholders and management to assess, select and recommend solutions and/or approaches that will achieve business goals.
  • Collaborates with appropriate project management resources on the development and execution of complex project plans, test plans and implementation plans including ensuring appropriate project resource allocations.
  • Ensures that business applications meet established service level agreements.
  • Serves as a subject matter expert to resolve complex application development/system analysis issues/concerns.
  • Partners with stakeholders and business leaders to ensure that systems are designed, developed and implemented from a business point of view.
  • Assesses and communicates in a timely and appropriate manner to management and other stakeholders regarding scope, status, risks and issues; develops mitigation plans if necessary
  • Builds and maintains relationships with internal clients to better understand how technology can best support current and future business needs.
  • Collaborates during the annual planning process by responding to business requests and/or recommending system enhancements then develops associated budgets and plans.
  • Develops & manages budget/expenses.
  • May oversee & manage vendor relationships & process to coordinate activities & ensure compliance of statement of work.

What We’re Looking For

  • 4 Year/Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience (4 years of experience in lieu of Bachelor's) in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Information Systems, Information Technology or Computer Engineering or equivalent work experience (Minimum Required)
  • 7+ Years experience in application development that directly aligns with the specific responsibilities for this position, including 3+ years of managerial, supervisory, and/or demonstrated leadership experience (Required)
  • 5+ years' experience Email Marketing Platforms (Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Oracle Eloqua, or similar)
  • 5+ years' experience Marketing Resource Management Platforms (Adobe Workfront, or similar)
  • 5+ years' experience Sales Enablement Platforms (Seismic, etc.)
  • Experience with other Marketing Platforms including survey tools, event hosting software, and content tools

Nice to have:

  • Salesforce Marketing Cloud Certifications
  • Salesforce CRM (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Financial Services Cloud)

The pay range for this position is $105,301 - $190,000 with anticipated pay for new hires between the minimum and midpoint of the range and could vary above and below the listed range as permitted by applicable law. Pay is based on non-discriminatory factors including but not limited to work experience, education, location, licensure requirements, proficiency and qualifications required for the role. The base pay is just one component of Lincoln’s total rewards package for employees. In addition, the role may be eligible for the Annual Incentive Program, which is discretionary and based on the performance of the company, business unit and individual. Other rewards may include long-term incentives, sales incentives and Lincoln’s standard benefits package.
