For our Client, a global IT company, we are looking for interesting Candidates, experienced in the General Ledger/General Accounting area :)

Requirements

Maintain the accuracy of financial records by accurately documenting, verifying, consolidating, and entering financial transactions.
Take part in the month-end closing activities and prepare balance sheet reconciliations.
Contribute to the preparation of the parent company’s financial statements on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
Support general financial analysis and management tasks.
Aid in the development of a comprehensive accounting function that includes all subsidiaries, transitioning accounting responsibilities from external consultants in Germany and other countries.
Spot opportunities for process enhancements, with a focus on standardization, automation, and digitalization in accounting.

Responsibilities

Min. 5 years of relevant experience, with proficiency in HGB and IFRS/US GAAP accounting standards.
Fluency in English is required; proficiency in German is an asset.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines in a goal-oriented environment.
Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of independent work, maintaining high standards of accuracy.
Team player with the ability to collaborate effectively with all levels of the organization, while also working independently.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Hold a professional accounting qualification (ACCA, CIMA, CA, CPA, or equivalent) is a plus
