Who we are

Being in this craft for about 5 years, we managed to accumulate expertise and bring value to a number of clients. We cooperate with US and Canadian product companies of different sizes, from small startups to established products, in close, trusted relationships.

All team members, including management, have an engineering background. The process, participants who speak the same language and have a similar approach based on technical principles, is always efficient. It is way easier to make decisions and introduce new features in a team with engineering at heart. It is the technical DNA that lets us build high-quality products that facilitate the lives of our customers’ users.

Position & client

Our client is a company that provides compliance assistance for U.S. and non-U.S. companies in the food and beverage, medical device, drug, cosmetics, and radiation-emitting device industries. Our project is to refresh their corporate website, e-commerce platform, and marketing pages.

*It’s a short-term contract for 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts using Selenium.
• Create and manage end-to-end automated test cases with Cucumber.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (developers, product managers, and other stakeholders) to understand application functionality and testing requirements.
• Perform manual testing when automation is not applicable or feasible.
• Conduct end-to-end testing to validate system workflows, including integration and user acceptance testing.
• Write clear, concise, and comprehensive test cases and documentation.
• Analyze test results, identify bugs, and work with the development team to resolve issues.
• Participate in design and code reviews to improve testing processes.
• Continuously improve test automation frameworks and processes to increase coverage and efficiency.
• Maintain and enhance CI/CD pipelines to integrate test automation into the development lifecycle.
• 50% automation testing, 50% manual testing
• Communicate with engineering teams from the USA

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in Automation Testing.
• Proficiency in Selenium: Experience in writing, maintaining, and executing Selenium test scripts.
• Familiarity with Cucumber: Experience with BDD (Behavior Driven Development) testing frameworks such as Cucumber, and writing Gherkin syntax (Given, When, Then).
• Programming Languages: Strong knowledge of at least one programming language (e.g., Java, Python, or JavaScript) for developing automation scripts.
• Experience with manual testing: Ability to manually test features when needed, especially when automation is not feasible.
• Knowledge of end-to-end testing methodologies, including system, integration, and user acceptance testing.
• Experience with testing APIs using tools like Postman, RestAssured, or similar.
• Version Control Systems: Knowledge of version control tools like Git for managing test scripts.
• Continuous Integration (CI): Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI to automate pipeline testing processes.
• Understanding of SQL for querying databases to verify test data.
• Upper-Intermediate English speaking level

Nice-to-have

• Experience with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner).
• Familiarity with cloud-based testing environments (AWS, Azure).
• Knowledge of Docker or other containerization tools for managing test environments.
• Experience in mobile testing automation with tools like Appium.
• Basic understanding of security testing practices.
