Job description

This is a remote position.

Monday to Friday, 20 hours per week. Flexible schedule during Bermuda business hours, between 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Bookkeeper to manage our client’s financial records and ensure accuracy in financial reporting. The ideal candidate will have experience with general ledger management, accounts payable, and cash forecasting, and be capable of preparing monthly financial reports. This role is critical to maintaining the financial health and stability of the business and requires a proactive individual who can handle multiple tasks with precision.

Responsibilities
- Posting and categorizing payables
- Managing GL account and sub accounts
- Preparing basic financial reports for owner monthly.
- Cash forecasting

Requirements
 
- 2-3 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, or similar tools).
- Strong understanding of financial reporting, accounts payable, and cash flow management.
- High attention to detail with strong organizational skills.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain financial information clearly.
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple priorities.
