Property Management Accountant

Position Title: Property Management Accountant

Location: Remote (Must reside in South Africa)

Working Hours: 3pm - 11pm (SA Time)

Employment Type: Independent Contractor

We are seeking a brilliant and detail-oriented Property Management Accountant to join our team as an independent contractor. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, exceptional communication skills, and hands-on experience with Rent Manager software. This remote position requires the candidate to work from 3pm to 11pm South Africa time.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accounting and Financial Management:
  • Maintain accurate financial records for property management.
  • Prepare and analyze financial statements and reports.
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable processes.
  • Handle bank reconciliations and ensure timely processing of transactions.
  • Lease and Tenant Account Management:
  • Prepare lease offers, bank guarantees, and lease agreements.
  • Analyze and understand terms and conditions of lease agreements.
  • Draft, negotiate, and manage lease agreements and renewals.
  • Gather necessary documentation for signatures and manage electronic filing.
  • Communication and Correspondence:
  • Manage emails and phone calls with precision and professionalism.
  • Communicate effectively with landlords, tenants, and brokers.
  • Provide excellent customer service and build strong relationships with stakeholders.
  • Administrative Support:
  • Assist with day-to-day administrative tasks related to property management.
  • Ensure all financial and lease-related documents are organized and accessible.

Requirements: 

  • Hands-on experience with Rent Manager software (essential)
  • Own laptop & Stable Wi-Fi 
  • 4 + years' experience with Property account management
  • Stability in previous work history.
  • Willing to work  the USA business hours (3pm -11pm) SA time
