Senior Devops Engineer (Remote)

Position Overview:

As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our CI/CD pipelines, automating system configurations, and ensuring the reliability and scalability of our production environment. You will work closely with development, QA, and operations teams to streamline our software development lifecycle and support our mission-critical applications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines to support automated build, test, and deployment processes.
  

• Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration management using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or similar.
  

• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high availability of services.
  

• Collaborate with development and operations teams to ensure smooth and efficient software releases.
  

• Implement security best practices across the infrastructure and CI/CD processes.
  

• Optimize resource usage and manage cloud infrastructure costs.
  

• Mentor and provide guidance to junior DevOps engineers.
  

• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in DevOps, cloud computing, and infrastructure automation.
  

Requirements

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  

• 5+ years of professional experience in DevOps.
  

• Extensive experience with AWS platforms.
  

• Experience with Jenkins
  

• Proficiency in CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI, or similar.
  

• Strong scripting skills in languages such as Python, Bash etc.
  

• Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
  

• Knowledge of infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.
  

• Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, or Splunk.
  

• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  

• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  

• English Language Conversational
  

Preferred Qualifications:

• AWS Certified Solution Architect (Associate or Professional)
  

• Experience with multi-cloud environments and hybrid cloud strategies.
  

• Familiarity with compliance and security standards (e.g., ISO 27001, SOC 2).
  

• Understanding of Agile and DevOps methodologies.
