Job description

IDEXX is looking for a Technical Project Manager to join our ezyVet Data Engineering team! If you’re passionate about process improvement, efficiency and prioritisation, this could be the perfect role for you! 

We are happy for this role to be based remotely from the USA or from one of our US offices.  

But what is ezyVet you ask? ezyVet is a cloud based Veterinary Practice Management Software. We provide easy to use Software that helps veterinary practices save time, increase revenue, communicate better with clients and reduce workload stress. We are a premium software product and a part IDEXX’s Veterinary offerings. Pets and tech, it’s a winning combo!

A bit more about the role, you will:  
  • This role will be dedicated to the ezyVet Data Engineering team. They are responsible for the data conversion process of new customers (Veterinary Clinics, coming onboard to our ezyVet software). There is a lot of room for efficiency, and continuous process improvement in how we do this which this role will own!  

  • Manage entire project lifecycle from sizing and scoping project to  
    implementation, closure and handoff to support, and ensuring ongoing  
    project success and customer satisfaction. 

  • Help the business modify the project when necessary. 

  • Manages internal new and on-going projects. Manages and administers  
    projects including identifying and planning workflow process improvements. 

  • Builds project plans, including necessary deliverables and schedules 

  • Collaborate across time zones – we have a data team in Auckland and London as well as the USA.  

 

So what are we looking for?  
  • 2+ years experience in being a project manager or similar experience  

  • Scrum certification/ project management course or qualification preferred 

  • Experience with agile methodologies 

  • Experience in and confident in facilitating meetings and discussions 

  • Understanding of how programming works  

  • Passionate about efficiency and improvements  

  • Eager to learn!  

  • Ability to plan, prioritize shippable deliverables between the Software  
    Solutions Engineering and BAU Data Engineering teams. 

  • Experience in and confident in facilitating meetings and discussions 

  • Understanding of how Data Engineering Project Lifecycle and SDLC works 

What you can expect from us:  
  • Salary of $75,000 - $95,000 

  • Opportunity for annual cash bonus
