IT Finance Associate Director - Digital Manufacturing Division

IT Finance provides Financial Planning & Analysis to guide our Technology organization to invest in value creating capabilities to help our Company save and improve lives.

This role supports the leadership of the Digital Manufacturing Division function. Our Digital Manufacturing Division has a vital role in executing the digital transformation, IT technology investments and operating/maintaining the IT products that support manufacturing at our Company.

The role requires a close partnership with each of the eight value teams to maintain a rolling forecast, review those data at least monthly during the value team financial review. The role requires the rollup of these data periodically to support the corporate financial planning requirements including the formal forecast submissions, monthly close activities, variance, and tallies as required.

Another key area is supporting the investment projects including supporting the business case creation, analysis, value management and management through our Company's Capital Management Process.

Responsibilities of this role include:

Leadership & Partnership:

• Serve as a trusted financial advisor, and partner to the Digital Manufacturing Division leadership team.

• Support the continuing maturity of IT Financial Management for Digital Manufacturing Division. This includes maintaining a detailed rolling forecast aligned to the IT product model and continuing evolution of the product model, workforce/resource management and demand management practices.

Financial Planning & Analysis:

• Lead the development of Budget, LROP/LRCP and Forecasts for the individual value teams, and the overall roll up to the Digital Manufacturing Division organization.

• Facilitate trade-offs to ensure resources are allocated to the highest value programs.

• Develop Integrated Business Cases for Technology investments in partnership with business stakeholders and Divisional Finance to articulate the value expectations of investments through our Company's capital management processes.

Position Qualifications:

Education Minimum Requirement:

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, information technology, or related discipline

• MBA Preferred

Required Experience and Skills:

• 5 years in Finance, business operations, business strategy, investment management, or similar field

• Plan, lead, and implement successful large-scale transformations in an ambiguous, fast paced environment, with multiple stakeholders and levels of leadership involved.

• Strong analytical skills

• Demonstrated knowledge of Financial Evaluation and Value Management to define ROI and align on value capture/realization.

• Assess budget, cost optimization and cost driver analysis to provide meaningful insights for teams developing business cases and making investment decisions.

• Ability to guide and influence interdisciplinary teams on financial concepts and how that impacts Value Management

• Communication of financial and performance information to leadership and colleagues for both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Demonstrated ability to function as strategic partner and trusted advisor to the IT area.

• Demonstrated ability to maintain detailed financial data working in close partnership with supported area.

Preferred Experience and Skills:

• Work well in a matrixed organization and across global teams to drive alignment.

• Demonstrate strong communicating and influencing abilities to ensure buy-in from leadership and the business.

• Apptio tool knowledge

• Advanced Excel skills

• Ability to flex between high-level strategic thinking and tactical implementation.

• Bring a unique perspective that reimagines current ways of working.

• Skilled in data analysis platforms such as PowerBI
