The NAM Sales Director Role


Role and Responsibilities

  • Understand the DM value proposition and how significantly it can change an orthodontic & dental practice
  • Develop sales and integration teams capable of driving revenue growth and delivering exceptional client experiences
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing sales team, fostering a culture of success and accountability.
  • Prepare and manage sales forecasts, budgets, and reports to maintain accountability and transparency in operations
  • Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure team success and adjust strategies as necessary
  • Streamline sales operations by implementing a consistent sales process and leveraging advanced sales tools in partnership with corporate support teams (such as Sales Force Excellence and BI team)
  • Create and implement effective sales strategies to achieve revenue targets,. sales targets, and company KPIs 
  • Target both the private practice and special market segments within the orthodontic industry
  • Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape to identify new opportunities for growth.
  • Build and maintain relationships  with KOLs to understand their business objectives and help to nurture KOLs/speakers to promote our solutions
  • Represent DM  at industry events, conferences, and trade shows to enhance brand visibility and engage with potential customers
  • Collaborate with marketing and product development teams to align sales efforts with overall company objectives and product offerings
  • Provide accurate sales forecasts and reports to senior management, ensuring transparency and alignment with business objectives.
  • Conduct ongoing training sessions to enhance team skills and knowledge about our products and sales techniques.


Information Security

  • Be aware of his/her own responsibility regarding information security
  • Manage confidential human resources information with discretion and appropriate chain of command
  • Perform his/her work according to the applicable policies and procedures
  • Contribute actively to the continuous improvement of our ISMS
  • Report any observed or suspected weaknesses in our ISMS and any information security incident
  • Promote awareness regarding information security in the team
  • Monitor the applicable key indicators of the ISMS


Essential Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred
  • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills to build and maintain client relationships
  •  5+ years of experience in SaaS sales, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
  • Ability to analyze data and make strategic decisions based on insights.
  • Strong leadership and team-building skills, with the ability to inspire your co-workers
  • Capable of establishing and nurturing positive and collaborative relationships with both internal and external customers
  • Experience with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) and sales analytics software.


Preferred Qualifications

  • A background in med-tech, dental and/or ortho desirable
  • A high level of IT knowledge and high appreciation for new technology
  • Start up and/or scale up experience
