 Job Title: Strategic Sales Director - ASEAN

Location: Singapore

We seek a dynamic and results-driven Strategic Sales Director to lead our sales efforts in the ASEAN region. Essential for driving revenue growth, expanding our customer base through new client acquisitions, and enhancing our market presence.

The ideal candidate will understand the Secure Access Service Edge (SASE) landscape and demonstrate a proven track record in enterprise sales. Additionally, the candidate should have extensive knowledge of network security principles and practices, enabling them to address and mitigate cybersecurity challenges within complex enterprise environments effectively. This expertise will be critical in developing and delivering comprehensive solutions that meet our prospects' and clients' evolving security needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Sales Strategy and Execution:
    • Develop and implement a strategic sales plan to achieve revenue targets and market penetration goals across the ASEAN region.
    • Identify and prioritize key market opportunities and segments to drive business growth.
    • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to refine sales strategies and stay ahead of the competition.
    • This is primarily a new logo acquisition role
  2. Channel Enablement & Business Development
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective customers, partners, and stakeholders.
    • Drive new business development efforts, including prospecting, lead generation, and qualification of potential customers.
    • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute targeted campaigns and events to generate leads and increase brand awareness.
    • Work with Channel Account Managers to identify new good-fit partners.  Work with CAM to onboard and enable new Aryaka Channel Partners.
  3. Customer Engagement:
    • Understand customer requirements and pain points to deliver tailored solutions that meet their needs.
    • Present and demonstrate our SASE solutions to potential customers, addressing technical and business challenges.
    • Negotiate and close complex sales deals, ensuring customer satisfaction and long-term relationships.
  4. Cross-Functional Collaboration:
    • Work closely with product management, engineering, and customer support teams to ensure alignment and deliver exceptional customer experiences.
    • Provide feedback on product enhancements and new features based on customer insights and market demands.
    • Collaborate with global sales leadership to align regional strategies with overall company objectives.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Technology, or a related field; MBA is a plus.
  • Minimum of 8 years’ experience in enterprise sales, with a focus on network security solutions. 5 years of experience in a new customer acquisition role.
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth in the ASEAN region.
  • Strong understanding of the SASE market and competitive landscape.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to travel within the ASEAN region as needed.
