As a Field Application Scientist for Revvity Signals, you will be responsible for critical aspects of enterprise software sales cycles. Leveraging your skills as a sales engineer, with a passion for data driven decision making (such as Design of Experiments) using modern analytical software, you will partner with our customers and prospective customers in understanding the value of our software. Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and execute technical sales during the entire sales cycle, from the beginning through the achievement of our clients' goals, including discovery, presentations, demonstrations, workshops, and proof-of-concepts

  • Meet with all technical stakeholders to discover their relevant needs. Prove that Revvity Signals can meet those needs in complex sales cycles with multiple stakeholders

  • Collaborate with Sales, Product Management, Professional Services, and other members of the Field Application Scientist team to provide a frictionless customer experience through the technical sales process

Basic Qualifications:

  • Ph.D. or M.S. degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field

  • 5+ years of professional experience research and development at a specialty chemical company

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong experience in Formulations, Process Chemistry, or Process Design and Optimization

  • Experience in effectively using formulation and test data to establish relationships between product design parameters and final product performance

  • Experience with Revvity Signals Software, such as ChemDraw, Signals Notebook or TIBCO Spotfire

  • Experienced Sales Engineer

  • Some business travel required
