This role offers opportunities for professional growth and is best suited for a motivated individual with a strong work ethic and a commitment to client service.Location:Costa Mesa, CADuties:Manage and litigate employment law cases, with a focus on defense-side employment cases and class action/PAGA matters.Handle written discovery and prepare for depositions, hearings, and trial preparation.Conduct legal research, negotiate settlements, and draft legal documents.Attend depositions, hearings, and other court-related events.Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and provide exceptional legal services.Collaborate with legal team members to ensure efficient and effective case management.Requirements:3-6 years of experience in employment and labor law, particularly in defense-side litigation.Experience with class action and PAGA cases.Proficiency in handling depositions, discovery, and trial preparation.Strong negotiation, research, writing, and verbal communication skills.Ability to excel in a fast-paced work environment.Proven ability to build and maintain client relationships.Licensed and in good standing with the California State Bar.Reside in California.Education:Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.Certifications:Licensed to practice law in California.Skills:Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines effectively.Litigation experience, with emphasis on discovery and trial preparation.Ability to work independently and as part of a legal team.Benefits:Comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, and vision insurance.Opportunities for professional growth and development.
