Job Overview

We are in search of an accomplished leader in supply chain management who embodies a spirit of innovation and has a notable history of achievements. As the Director of Procurement, Sourcing, and Supply Chain, you will be instrumental in steering our organizational growth by enhancing our supply chain efficacy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Formulate and implement a comprehensive global strategy for procurement, sourcing, and supply chain to align with our business goals.
  • Lead all facets of procurement, overseeing processes from vendor qualification through to purchase order execution and reconciliation.
  • Supervise logistics and onboarding protocols across diverse geographical locations, ensuring prompt and efficient delivery of products.
  • Cultivate robust partnerships with vendors and stakeholders, optimizing for brand integrity, client experience, and financial outcomes.
  • Collaborate with the design team to ensure that all projects align with established objectives, budgetary constraints, and quality standards.
  • Introduce innovative software solutions and refine workflows to maximize operational efficiency and scalability.
  • Manage financial performance by overseeing the profit and loss statements for operations, working closely with finance to devise budgets that promote profitability.
  • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and service level agreements (SLAs) to monitor success, pinpoint areas for enhancement, and drive continuous progress.
  • Utilize data analytics to uncover cost-saving avenues and optimize supply chain performance.
  • Develop and oversee standard operating procedures (SOPs), leading cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with established processes.

Required Skills

  • Over a decade of experience in supply chain management, procurement, and logistics, particularly in a leadership capacity within dynamic startups.
  • Strong academic credentials, ideally holding a bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain, or a comparable discipline; an MBA is preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively lead global, cross-functional teams and initiate transformative changes.
  • Exceptional analytical and data interpretation skills, with a proven background in establishing data-driven organizational frameworks and optimizing expenditures.
  • Expertise in refining processes and systems to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Strategic acumen to devise and execute long-range strategies while adeptly managing daily operations.
  • Proficient verbal and written communication skills, able to present complex information to diverse audiences clearly.
  • A collaborative approach with a focus on building strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
